For permanent displays that require some resilience and longevity or for larger constructions and cladding for exhibition stands, MDF is a solid yet adaptable material for a range of applications. Used flat more often than not, it can be routed with parallel grooves to create elegant curves or cut out for decorative edges and friezes. Foamex has similar attributes and is ideal for smaller items where strength isn't the main requirement.
